Maiden and the Dragon with Momotaro

So I misread the assignment of the Many Voices Group Show. Here it is:
Think about cultural and historical narrative, language, religion, spirituality, cultural celebrations and traditions, stories, ethnic origins, mythology, folklore and anything else you can think of. You can create something based on your own culture or another. You are free to interpret this theme in any way that seems appropriate. You may submit artwork that you already have or create something new for the show.

I thought it was a fantasy creature mixed with ethnicity of your choice. Not the case, so I thought to incorporate my own - The Maiden and Dragon with Momotaro - both stories from my play "Japan 1946 Meets California 2010" from my production "Waking from the Dream" which just closed last Wednesday. So here's a first pass of what I came up with:
